Alison Sheets was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She has called three countries and six states home and currently resides in the Seattle area. Alison attended law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she simultaneously earned a Master of Arts in International Human Rights from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies.

Prior to opening her own firm, Alison worked for the American Bar Association’s ProBAR in South Texas, where she worked primarily with immigrants in immigration detention who were from all over the world. Outside her practice, Alison is committed to working with underserved populations, including representing low-income tenants in eviction proceedings and volunteering at clinics to prepare estate planning documents for low-income seniors. She is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Washington state. Alison lives in Snohomish County with her partner, and in her free time enjoys gardening and exploring the beauty of the state of Washington.
